Developmental Editing

I edit select manuscripts when time permits. Please email me for availability. Include a half page synopsis and the first 10 pages of your manuscript.

Cost – 3 cents a word, half down and the rest upon receipt of edit

Manuscript Format – digital copy and paper copy of entire manuscript in Word, Times New Roman, 12-point font, double spaced

Edit includes -  annotations on the paper copy, 2-page written report covering strengths, areas to improve and suggestions on how to improve problem areas. Comments will cover plot, structure, voice, characterization, tense, description, pacing, point of view, and dialogue. Also, I will provide a 1-hour consultation 3 – 10 days after you receive edits.
